The Shifter

The shifter is a Druid who forsakes some of his magical powers to focus on transformation. The Druid's usual transformation powers become enhanced, so that he can inherit all the special powers of the shape he assumes more rapidly, can take on larger shapes, and can shift between shapes more rapidly. Although the Druid loses his magical powers, he becomes a powerful fighter through the ability to attain other forms.

Although any character who can cast a shape-shifting spell can become a shifter, the class best suits Druids who wish to focus on transformation and combat.
