Cleric/Rogue-based prestige classes

The Divine Hunter

Many is the church which finds itself in need of a spy amongst its flock, an avenger against those whose misdeeds it uncovers, and a bounty hunter to recall those who have fled the faithful. A strong church does not rely on infidels for this task, but instead develops a secret society of assassins of its own, who merge their faith in their Divine protector with the more earthly arts of subterfuge, stealth and assassination. Having been set upon their task by the Church Elders, these divine hunters allow no earthly impediment to prevent them from finding and slaying the target of their God's rage.

The Divine Hunter combines the skills of a Rogue with the Divine magical powers of a Priest. Though at higher levels the Hunter loses some of the more powerful traits of the Rogue, and through devotion to worldly arts is slightly less in Divine favour than a pure Cleric, the mixture of magic and thievery remains potent enough to make the Divine Hunter more powerful than a Cleric/Rogue of similar levels. The Divine Hunter also gains the special powers of an assassin, such as the ability to use poison, an improved sneak attack, and resistance to poison. At very high levels, the Divine Hunter gains the power to hide even when in plain sight of his target.

Although some Thieves Guilds raise some of their members to become assassins, these members tend to focus on arcane powers. To become a Divine Hunter, one must already have some Divine spellcasting powers and some thieving skills.

The seeker

Some churches' whole purpose is the discovery of hidden or lost powers or entities, while others need to search far and wide for individuals to become their next prophet. These churches often develop amongst their ranks a small and select group of individuals to pursue this task. Seekers need to be able to discern truth from lies, see through illusion, and battle their foes with some of the strength of a warrior. Focussed on discovering the truth and defeating those who oppose them, Seekers lose some of their magical strength in exchange for combat power and oracular skills.

The seeker gains Divine spells more slowly than a normal cleric, but increases in combat skills more rapidly. The seeker also gains bonusses to perception skills, and at later levels gains the power to see through lies, illusions and invisibility.

Because the seeker class needs to understand stealth and disguise, it can be a good class for a Cleric/Rogue. Anyone who wishes to become a seeker for their church must already have some Divine Magic.

I know this is a pretty old blog post, but do you know what book the divine hunter is in? It sounds very much like what I'm looking for with a cleric/rogue I'm working on building right now.
